(E) that landfills cannot accept leaves,brush, and grass clippings

可能大家会解释说ban 掉的是landfills不能accept，但是E可以表达出同样的意思啊？求解释啊

1. ban as vt.
ban sth. or ing, e.g. the state bans smoking.
ban sb. from n. or ing., e.g. bans the team from cycling.

2. ban as n.
ban on sth. or ing., e.g. the state ban on smoking.
ban from n. or ing., e.g. the state ban from acceptance of XX, XX and XX.
   
楼主也可以查查ban和prohibit各种用法。

首先，E很繁杂，从句不如分词简洁。其次，cannot表示能力（自己主动的），

这里显然不是没能力，而是不被允许，E不恰当。

不过这里如果用prohibitting不会造成累赘么？

    这里的名词ban发出的动作，或者它的目的就是to prohibit。

bans是法律，规定。。。这一类的要用ving后置作定语>定语从句, 体现去

有效性
然后prohibit...from doing...
就可选出答案了

prohibit不加FROM的吧  PROHIBIT SB FROM DOING SOMETHING OR PROHIBIT SOMETHING
