Q18:
Last year the price per share of Stock X increased by k percent and the earnings per share of Stock X increased by m percent, where k is greater than m. By what percent did the ratio of price per share to earnings per share increase, in terms of k and m?

A. k/m %
B. (k-m) %
C. [100(k-m)]/(100+k) %
D. [100(k-m)]/(100+m) %
E. [100(k-m)]/(100+k+m) %
不理解题意，。。不知如何下手谢谢各位咯

翻一下：
去年X的每份额的价格增加了k%，X的每份额的回报增加了m%，k>m,问：以k和m来表示的话，每份额的价格和每份额的回报之比增加了百分之多少。
列出等式：
今年的ratio就是（1+k%）/(1+m%)
那么比较去年的增长就是：[(1+k%)/(1+m%)]-1 化简一下是选项D
但愿没写错。。。

设去年Price和Earning分别为P0，E0
今年Price和Earning分别为P1，E1

问题是By what percent did the ratio of price per share to earnings

per share increase？
问题的主干是By what percent did XXX increase？就是问XXX增长的百分数，

XXX代表的又是“the ratio of price per share to earnings per share”，

其实就是问P/E增长的百分数。

式子为(P1/E1-P0/E0)/(P0/E0)，化简后为(k-m)%

p/e             p/e [(100+k)/(100+m)] * [p/e]

percentage increase in p/e ratio = 100% * {[(100+k)/(100+m)] * [p/e] - [p/e]} / [p/e]
                              = 100%* [(100+k)/(100+m) - 1]
                              = 100% * [(k-m)/(100+m)]
