2. ★怎么看OG？
仅仅把答案选出来，再把后面的解释看一看，这样的复习方式已经不能满足机考的要求了。做完题后，要对所有的语法点进行横向及纵向的比较。经过这样纵向横向的比较你的语感会得到较大提高。训练对纯语法点的判断，同时加强逻辑及语义的把握。
纵向比较：把整个句子中的各个语言点要挑出来，进行比较归纳总结，不明白的地方要查查语法书（推荐使用《张到真英语语法》）。横向比较:归纳总结完之后，又要把语法点还原到句子中，去感觉各个语法点在整个句子中的Consistent, and Coherent.
例如：
The current administration, being worried over some foreign trade barriers being removed and our exports failing to increase as a result of deep cuts in the value of the dollar, has formed a group to study ways to sharpen our competitiveness.(A) being worried over some foreign trade barriers being removed and exports failing (B) worrying over some foreign trade barriers being removed, also over the failure of our exports (C) worried about the removal of some trade barriers and the failure of our sports (D) in that they were worried about the removal of some foreign trade barriers and also about the failure of our exports (E) because of its worry concerning the removal of some foreign trade barriers, also concerning the failure of our exports. 答案很容易选出来C. 如果仅仅把答案选出来，再把后面的解释看一看，这样的复习方式已经不能满足机考的要求了。这个题中向我们展示了许多语法点，如worry about 和worry over的区别, in that和 because的区别，to increase as a result of deep cuts in the value of the dollar中的介词in,以及as a result of 的用法， has formed a group to study ways to sharpen our competitiveness中连用两个to. 纵向比较：cuts 后接的介词是in,我们应该想想是否还有其他名词后面也习惯接in? OG里面还有其他题目中change， increase ，drop 也是用这个介词。那么是不是这些单词后面也可以接on或其他呢？ as a result of在这里可不可以换成because of 或是resulting from？（我在OG SC 263中找到了答案。）这个句中后半部连用两个to，但OG SC 140题的解释中说：两个to是 awkwardly juxtaposes two infinitives.其实42题中并非将两个不定式并列，后面to sharpen our competitiveness是用来修饰 ways. 这里用了现在完成时，但文中没有明显的提示词如since, in the first quarter等等。OG中还有很多没有明显提示词，都用了完成时。比较比较他们的异同。横向比较：主语与谓语之间加了很长一个修饰成份，想想这个成份加在哪个位置不会造成歧义，也不会让句子读起来别扭。想想这里是哪些词产生的逻辑意思使得这个句子用现在完成时。还要注意介词短语的位置。
