答案是A 吗？ trade imbalances 和 trade deficit 平行

同意楼上——因为比较的对象是trade imbanlances，后面的主语一定要是类似的trade deficit，而不能是US。A、B没看出什么区别。

compare to是比喻的意思吧。。compare with是比较的意思。。

答案是A，但是你说的考点不对呀……
看看后文的意思，应该能够猜出来，是说“相比于对日本和对中国的贸易来说，美国对墨西哥的贸易******”
所以必须要In contrast to/with 或者 in/on contrary to，意思是与**相反。conpare说的都是比较，但是原文没有要做比较的意思。
