当然答案是E，没有问题。
问题是：B是否也是一个削弱呢？
我的感觉是B/E都削弱，不过E更好。

(B) The easing of standards for smokestack emissions has led to an increase in air-pollution levels in homes.如果改为in the new home就是答案

因为B选项没法解释新房为何比老房室内污染多要注意选项的概念B用的是home

B是无关信息。正如二楼FSWRD说的没有说明为什么老的比新的污染少。
