A collection of 38 poems by Phillis Wheatly, a slave, was published in the 1770's, the first bool by a Black woman and (it was onlythe second published by an American woman.)

A  it was onlythe second published by an American woman.
B  it was only the second that an American woman published
c  the second one only published by an American woman
D  the second one only that an American woman published
E  only the second published by an American woman.

后面的是同位语，不应该用句子的形式
C,D中only的位置都不对

同意princess,A,B中 it was应该省去,在并列中,主谓相同,应该省略!

我们可以很容易的留下c和e,因为并列的原因，
但only 的位置，为什么在c中不好？

C中only做副词修饰published,改变了句子意思咯：）

但是，你怎么知道句子原来想表达什么意思呢？
因为既然是画出来要改的部分，那就不应该有确定的意思丫！
你能从翻译出来的两个句子意思判断一下吗？我判断不出来。：（

一般来说，像only这类词（位置不同会引起意义上的不同）在正确选项中的位置就是原句中的位置

而且only published by an American woman意思上也不好翻译啊

z_weining的困惑我也有过
我记得有这样的规则：情态动词不能随意添加；only，just位置不能随意改变
如果说我们不知道原意，那么到底是添加情态动词对呢？还是不添加对呢？
我觉得按句意理解，有时很不好把握；所以，在实战中，我倾向用这样的规则/
不知z_weining是如何应付的？
