这个题我觉得"like" 表举例了 不对呢？？ 应该改成such as 吧？ 那如果是上面两个里面选一个的话，两个句子用的move toward 和shift toward有什么区别啊？

given that 是不是应该加从句，而given +(N)?

我也想知道shift toward和move toward的区别。
given与 given that 在意义上没有多大区别，所差在於用法。
它们的定义视上下文而定。大致上有如果考虑到。。。就所知。。而论。
2。Given + that clause, main clause
Given + that 引导的从属子句，后接主要子句。
e.g. Given (the fact) that the earthquake has damaged severely, we still try to enable the evacuees to be as independent as possible.
Given放句首，后跟名词或从句，然后再跟主句是固定句型，given充当介词使用，表示假设、假定、已知等意思，常译为“考虑到…，如果有…”。如：Given his age, this child really did a good job. 考虑到他的年纪，小男孩的确干得不错。
