In the past several years, astronomers have detected more than 80 massive planets, other stars.
C most of them at least as large as Jupeter, circling
D mostly at least as large as Jupeter, which circle
我的疑问是：C是正确的。但是circling other stars是不是svo, doing结构中的doing，作伴随状语，逻辑主语是astronomers，这样就把正确答案否定了。
另外D选项也没什么毛病啊，为什么不选D呢？

"which" describe "Jupeter" here, not just wrong in the meaning, but also has grammer error, should be "which circles"

楼上正解。

C选项的circling作伴随状语，语法上可以修饰astronomers，也可以修饰planets；但astronomers circling明显不合逻辑，所以在此句中修饰planets。

D选项，首先是单复数的错误，也就是楼上所述。

其次个人认为mostly作为adv出现在这里不恰当，adv一般作为前置词，修饰动词或形容词，在D选项中，mostly放在了at least的前面，让人confuse到底mostly修饰的是at least还是作为一个most of them的缩略词出现在这里。指代不明，故D选项不合适。

三楼的大侠我在新东方上课时我们老师说C选项的circling作伴随状语，逻辑主语是主句主语astronomers, 不是planets,三楼是不是说错了？

C选项中，“most of them at least as large as Jupeter”作为插入语修饰planets，用两个逗号隔开。在具体处理这个句子的时候，可以将这个插入语和它附近的两个逗号都略去，则句子就成了：

In the past several years, astronomers have detected more than 80 massive planets circling other stars.

那么就可以很明显看出：circling是修饰planets的
