The Dean of the School of Management has a good grasp of what is required to build an excellent program and seeks input from students, which is rare, based on my personal experience.
It was a good program with excellent instructors. It offered a great deal of flexibility and allowed me to complete the program over a four-year period.
It is a good education at a good price. There are many professors who are student advocates and really do teach students valuable lessons.作者: s 时间: 2010-10-27 20:58
Professors are very knowledgeable, personable, and easy to get along with.
The classes were challenging, and the diversity of the student body was an asset in the education.
The education was comprehensive, the exposure to Dallas' local business community was invaluable, and the open access to the school's cutting-edge technology and business research was great.作者: s 时间: 2010-10-27 20:58
There was a mix of instructors with professional backgrounds and professors with theoretical backgrounds who performed interesting research.
The emphasis on group work is understandable given the way companies work today. However, group work in a classroom setting is inherently different and has its own complications. As a part-time student, I found the group work frustrating at times.作者: s 时间: 2010-10-27 20:59
There should be less reliance on teams. I understand the team approach to education, but every assignment does not need to be a team effort.
There were guest speakers, workshops, team building events for minorities, social events, and more.作者: s 时间: 2010-10-27 20:59
There are many opportunities to structure the program according to your interests with quality electives, but, at the same time, I think the program could be strengthened by ensuring that all courses are relevant.
The program has greatly exceeded my expectations regarding the quality of instruction, opportunities for networking, and access to highly competitive employment positions.
The environment at UT is progressive, with strong ties to local technology companies. There is also good international diversity in both the student body and group of teachers.
