California State University Northridge is well known for its diverse population, and for the fact that it is quite affordable. It is a laid back program, and everyone we know who has gone there has indicated that the class tends to be relaxed, supportive, and theyve told us that the school has been very relevant for their career goals. Their admission requirements tho tend to be challenging, including a GPA of 3.0 during the final years of college and a 213 on the computer based TOEFL. The average GMAT score here is 600.
The State University of New York at Albany is known for its flexibility--its easy to take evening courses, weekend courses--the school goes out of its way to help people make it work. Albany is also known for its focus on technology, one of the better programs in the area. Lots of engineers tend to go, given its focus on technology especially. The average GMAT score here is 575.
Between these two programs, if you are focusing on technology for sure, Id say that Albany may make more sense. But otherwise, Northridge is a slightly better-regarded program. Especially if youre considering staying on the West Coast for a while, Northridge would likely make the most sense--especially if tech is not your career path. 看你想去的地理位置了。我个人比较喜欢Albany。
The one reason:Albany离NY比较近。如果喜欢东海岸。这是个优势。
And the other:Albany是SUNY下面的,考虑到回国,整体知名度在国内还算不错。
