答案是D，我选B，这道题感觉是考时态的，可是我觉得B的时态很混乱阿，uncovered，enables，will be。

这道题是有一定的难度，

不过从时态上看：只有D对，其他选项均错。即：

“habor自身的时态”和“habor that宾语内容的时态”不符合

弱弱的问一下那这里选择C. as those whose 是不是问题也出在平行原则上~~ 单就语法上讲those代替households，whose引出后面的部分没有错误是这样的吗？请求nn解答~~

这个题还有一个解题的关键是 as the message is forwarded to others or sent back and forth 从句中的时态，使用现在时。
跟从句处于同一层的主句应该使用现在时或将来时 this person is privy to any comments that a recipient would add as the message is forwarded to others or sent back and forth.
可以排除 B, E 再根据简洁和其他错误排除 A, C

原文没有情态动词，可是D项却加了might，望大牛解释

原句虽然没有情态动词，但是不能根据这一条而认为该选项不对，应该再仔细看其他错误点再判断，
1)A和B 选项中的a trick for enabling 和C 以及D中的that 相比，没有that定于从句更准确
2)'who were still harboring' is wordy， 'still harboring' presented in choice C更好
3）'is privy' 应该用一般将来时，因为事情还没发生
4） 'would add' 作为虚拟语气和过去将来时都不合理
if you're talking about GENERAL TRUTHS, then you use the present tense ，所以正确选项中的uncovered 后的从句用了一半现在时 a trick that enables

这个that从句是修饰什么的，显然不是comment的定语从句。是this person will be privy ×× that ×× 这种句型么？
