记得好像高中讲过not until的句型查了一下

1. 一般式：not 与until分开，until放在句子的后面。例如：He did not go until midnight. （他直到午夜才走。）
2. 倒装式：not until 连在一起使用，且放在句首，整个句子要倒装。例如：Not until quite recently did I have any idea what a guided missile was like.(直到现在我才知道导弹是什么样子。)
3. 强调式：用于It is + not until +that ...的句型中。例如：It was not until the next day that I learned the truth.(到第二天我才听说事情的真相。)

我觉得C选项not until almost 1900 were scholars and critics to begin seriously

to study看做倒装滴话，正过来就是 scholars and critics were not to begin seriously

to study not until almost 1900.这就有问题叻嘛~~~

然后题目应该是强调那些兄弟姐妹们开始研究叻不是强调时间not until 1900

哦 D中强调了when 也就是说何时开始研究原意是开始研究~

请问A选项的具体的语法错误是什么呢？还有这里的begin studying 和begin to study有什么区别吗？
