SCHOOL COMMENTS
School Comments:
Fordham's Graduate School of Business does not create strict boundaries between its full-time and part-time students. Students are able to freely switch between the two distinctions based on credit hours, which allows for enhanced interaction between full- and part-time students.
作者: s    时间: 2010-8-23 15:04

Fordham has some great professors interested in teaching more than just the basic course material. Workplace experience, interpersonal interaction, and teamwork are areas of great focus in the program. Fordham feels like it's an MBA program on the rise, so I'm glad I had a chance to participate. My Fordham experience has prepared me to work that much harder (and smarter) for the next job or promotion. I feel like I recieved a name-brand education without the ego. --Marketing

The program is heavily geared toward the part time student. If you are attending full time it is a little frustrating because over two-thirds of the students are working full-time and not necessarily giving the experience 100% of their focus, which makes networking and team projects challenging. --Finance

Fordham is a great school with a wonderful faculty and diverse student body, however the planned facilities upgrade is anxiously awaited. --Human Resources
作者: s    时间: 2010-8-23 15:05

I think that the opportunities, career wise, are really great because people in the industry know that Fordham has a strong program. I would almost definitely recommend the school to friends, however, my only hesitation is that career services is not very good and people have to work on their own to look for a job and administration is not very helpful. Professors and education is great otherwise.--Consulting

The flexibility of the program, the location, and the high percentage of part-time students give to the program a very unique mix of academic content and professional attitude.--Consulting
作者: s    时间: 2010-8-23 15:05

While Fordham's education was more than satisfactory, the career services office is definitely lacking. There were few opportunities available through career services, though I was lucky enough to land one of them.-- Consulting

Fordham MBA provides you with a real world MBA experience as opposed to the academic studies that other B-schools provide.--Marketing

I was highly disappointed to see how few finance employers came to campus.--Finance
