1 - By invitation only.  

How many interviewed you?:
1 - Members of the admissions staff - MBA + HR backgrounds. The interviewers aren't decision-makers and don't know your app. pkg., only your resume.  

How long were the interviews?:
1 hour

Administrative or admissions staff  

What was the most difficult question?:
Fairly standard personality-style HR questions. Emphasis on work history.  

What was the most interesting question?:

Did you feel prepared?:
Yes - Interesting info: first round is only about 200-300 apps. They don't hold any spaces for 2nd round, although they will waitlist marginal 1st rounders until all the apps are processed.  

How did you prepare?:
The sample questions on this site are a good start; went over tips from other sites; re-read my application and the school's own info.  

Did you receive any feedback at the end?:
No - If you're not accepted you can have a meeting for them to explain why, but it's not an opp to try to change their minds.

All very bright, committed

Largely helpful, friendly and intelligent

Yes   

Suggestions for travel to the school?:
It's as easy, if not easier, to get there from BART, and there's a shuttle bus.

Describe a team experience during which you were both a follower and a leader.

Nothing particularly interesting...all standard questions.

Yes

Prepared my application, reviewed questions from accepted.com.

Yes - Many interviewers on campus are students, including first year students who have not been there very long.

Yes - Having these options was endlessly helpful.  

Could you choose the interview's location?:
Yes - Again, being given options was a major plus.  

How many interviews were scheduled?:
1 - I suppose no more were needed.  

How many interviewed you?:
2 - One faculy member and a student conducted the interview.  

How long were the interviews?:
About an hour, I think.

What was the most difficult question?:
I can't remember any of them being particularly difficult.  

What was the most interesting question?:
There was an abstract question that teh student interviewer came up with. "Who is your favorite superhero and why?" It was fairly useless, but helped me feel at ease and break the tension, I think.  

Did you feel prepared?:
Yes - I was fully prepared, I think.  

How did you prepare?:
By simply organizing my thoughts beforehand. It's very helpful.  

Did you receive any feedback at the end?:
No - Not really, no.  

What was your opinion of the Faculty?:
They seemd very professional and knwoledge, as well as witty.  

What was your opinion of the Alumni?:
N/A  

What was your opinion of the Students?:
The student was extremely interesting, interested, and made the interview go very smoothly.  

What was your opinion of the Office Personnel?:
Very helpful and polite.

No - Not really, no.

Yes - I was impressed by the people I met.  

Was there something you wish you had known ahead of time?:
No - I think not overanalyzing or overpreparing is a good idea.  

Suggestions for travel to the school?:
I found teh travel very easy.  

What other advice can you offer future interviewees?:
Again, don't overprepare or overanaylze.
