先说大学，香港一共8所大学，在民众的心目中，一般而言，大致如下：

香港大学

香港中文大学

香港科技大学

香港理工大学

香港城市大学

香港浸会大学

岭南大学

教育学院

但是需要说明的是：前三所优势明显，中间几所差距不大，后面的就有些差强人意了。
就商科而言，前三甲恰恰倒了过来：香港科技大学（HKUST）是当之无愧的第一，她与Kellogg合作的EMBA已经连续多年全球排名第一，虽然中文大学（CUHK）一直不服气，批评UST的这个EMBA是个“合资产品”，宣称自己的EMBA才是真正的"Made in HK", No.1 in HK, 但是无论从学生资历还是课程，这个合资产品的口碑真的不错。科大的MBA 2010 FT（英国金融时报）全球排名更是进了TOP10，着实把我们这些校友吓了一跳。金融和会计更是厉害，亚洲当之无愧的第一名。
但是，很不幸的是，对于大学应届毕业生而言，香港商学院学校可供我们选择的硕士课程并不多。

科大商学院：只有一个MSc in Economics （http://www.bm.ust.hk/ecmsc/）是应届毕业生可以申请的，课程开在经济系下面，实在是可惜。科大其他三个硕士项目：Msc in Financial Analysis, MSc in Investment Management, MSc in Information System Management 都是Part-time的，也就是只有香港本地学生才能申请的。

Message from the Director
The Master of Science (MSc) in Economics Program offered by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology has been a successful innovation that provides well-balanced academic and applied training in the subject. The program has two objectives. First, we provide solid economics and analytical training to students in order to prepare them for further pursuit of the highest academic degree (PhD) in any of the following subjects such as economics, accounting, finance, marketing or management. Second, the variety of applied courses offered in the program equips students with sufficient knowledge to enter the job market and benefit from the good employment opportunities in Hong Kong, Mainland China and elsewhere.

The MSc in Economics Program takes advantage of the high standards of research and teaching of the University. Using English as the medium of instruction, the Program is on a par with other economics programs offered internationally. Currently there are students coming to our program from the Canada, France, Germany, United States, Mainland China and Hong Kong. The Business School of HKUST, and its Economics Department, has been repeatedly recognized as a leading force in the international research arena.

Our professors, many of them are leading economics researchers, are dedicated to developing students with a balance of applied and analytical skills. We have been successful in placing graduates to a number of good universities in North America, Europe and Asia for PhD Programs. Graduates taking a more practical route have been placed successfully with large commercial banks, investment banks and Big 4 accounting firms. In the past, some of our students from the Mainland China were able to find jobs with Hong Kong employers such as the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and Cathay Pacific Airlines. 中大：放眼望去，中大开了一堆的硕士课程，但是... 全是Part-time的...

港大：港大的商学院开了两个硕士课程：Master of Economics（http://www.sef.hku.hk/postgradprog/master_econ/index.php）和 Master of Finance （http://www.sef.hku.hk/postgradprog/master_finance/index.php），这两个课程倒是录取本科生，但是课程全部开在平日的晚上和周六，所以一看还是为了照顾本地Part-time学生。我们国内同学full-time去读的好处是：白天可以shopping，港大校园在港岛中央，去哪里shopping倒是都很方便...
其他几个学校我是一般不推荐去读的，如果一定要去我也没办法。FYI，这几个放在下边参考吧：

Master of Economics
Programme Mission

The HKU Master of Economics (MEcon) Programme aims at providing rigorous advanced training in economics with emphasis on real world applications.

The programme usually has its recruitment exercise from January to March every year.

Programme Details

Our curriculum is designed to help students master economic analysis, use it creatively to find solutions to problems, and develop confidence in analysing issues and answering questions relevant to their work.

Flexibility is a key character of the programme-students have a number of elective courses to choose from, and courses of varying blends of abstraction and applicability are available. In addition to courses offered by the MEcon Programme, students may also choose elective courses in the HKU Master of Finance (MFin) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programmes which are also offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE), subject to availability and approval of the Programme Director.

Who Should Apply

The MEcon Programme is most suitable for three types of students: those who have some economics training and consider starting a career as a professional economist; those who want to acquire advanced economics knowledge that is useful for them in the workplace; and those who simply wish to gain a systemic tool kit to understand the economic problems around us.

Meeting Venue and Time

Meeting Venue: HKU Main campus on Pokfulam Road.

Meeting Time: Weekday evenings from 6:45pm to 9:45pm or Saturday afternoons.

Duration of Study

Full-time students at normal progress shall finish the programme in one academic year. Part-time students at normal progress shall finish the programme in two academic years.

Master of Finance
Program Mission

The HKU Master of Finance (MFin) Program is an interdisciplinary program aiming to provide motivated individuals with not only cutting-edge training in financial theory, but also the necessary mathematical, statistical and computer training, allowing them to apply the knowledge in a multitude of financial disciplines: pricing derivative instruments and securities, modelling and forecasting financial markets, hedging and financial risk management, credit risk management, insurance and reinsurance, quantitative trading and arbitrage training, asset allocation and investment management, and asset/liability management.

Successful graduates will enjoy a competitive advantage in a wide range of career opportunities in commercial and investment banks, brokerage and investment firms, insurance companies, treasury departments of non-financial corporations, regulatory agencies, and also consulting and accounting firms.

Program Overview

The MFin Program offered by the Faculty of Business & Economics represents an optimal mix of fundamental and cutting-edge knowledge in all areas of modern finance. The program includes four basic courses in Financial Analysis that are based on the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) curriculum, specifically designed to broaden the candidates' knowledge of Quantitative Analysis, Financial Statement Analysis, Economics and Fundamentals of Asset Valuation, such as investment valuation and portfolio management. These four courses, which will allow students to gain a solid knowledge base to prepare for all levels of the CFA examination, make up the Fundamental Core Module.

After successful completion of the Fundamental Core Module, students will continue their studies in either the Risk Management Stream, or the Financial Engineering Stream. The Risk Management Stream has a core module of five courses, and the Financial Engineering Stream has a core module of six courses. Students will then take elective courses to make up a total of twelve courses in order to graduate.

Program Details

The Program offers two streams: 1) Financial Engineering, and 2) Risk Management. Students may concentrate in either one of the two areas according to their interests and career aspirations. Students can be awarded the degree with double concentrations in Financial Engineering and Risk Management, provided that they have successfully completed the core courses in both areas plus 3 other electives.

The faculty of Master of Finance comes from a variety of educational backgrounds: finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, law, accounting, computer sciences as well as other quantitative disciplines. Successful graduates will enjoy a competitive advantage in a wide range of career opportunities in commercial and investment banks, brokerage and investment firms, insurance companies, treasury departments of non-financial corporations, regulatory agencies, and also consulting and accounting firms.

Who Should Apply

理工大学：Master of Finance (Investment Management)

Entrance Requirements
A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, preferably with at least second-class lower division Honours, or the equivalent.
Applicants who are not native speakers of English and their Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications are awarded by institutions where the medium of instruction is not English should fulfil the following minimum English language requirement:
a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 550 or above for the paper-based test; or a TOEFL score of 213 or above for the computer-based test; or a TOEFL score of 79 or above for the internet-based test;
OR
an overall Band Score of at least 6 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
Candidates with no or little work experience are welcome to apply.

Suitable candidates may be invited to attend admission interviews.

Remarks
Mode of study: Mixed-mode. Students can pursue their studies in either a full-time study load (taking 9 credits or more in a semester) or a part-time study load (taking less than 9 credits in a semester). Depending on their study pace, students should normally be able to complete the programme full-time in 1 to 1.5 years and part-time in 2 to 2.5 years with a maximum study period of 5 years. Students will be required to attend more classes in the evening if they choose the full-time option and the duration will be subject to class quota availability.

Remarks
Combined mode: Local students taking programmes in combined mode can attend full-time (12-18 credit units per semester) or part-time (no more than 11 credit units per semester) study in different semesters without seeking approval from the University. For non-local students, they will be admitted to these programmes for either full-time or part-time studies. Non-local students must maintain the required credit load for their full-time or part-time studies and any changes will require approval from the University.
The tuition fee is for the 2010/2011 academic year and is subject to yearly review.
Application deadline may be extended if places are available. However, applications received before the initial deadline indicated on this page will be considered first.
Applications of all programmes are processed on a rolling basis. Review of applications will start before the deadline and continue until all places are filled. Early applications are therefore strongly encouraged.
