新东方黄皮书236页第8题

the arithmetic mean of a data set is 46 and the standard deviation of the set is 4. which value is exactely 1.5 standard deviations from the arithmetic mean of the set?

我一点头绪都没，不知道如何处理. 先谢谢了

题目意思是一个集合平均值是46标准差是4，求标准差是1.5的集合平均值？

平均值是46 标准差是4 那么方差是16

而标准差事1.5，方差就是2.25 所以值就是 46*2.25/16
对吗？

楼主用46加减1.5x4就可以了
答案是40或者52

46*2.25/16 = 6.46
答案应该是52
