开头:
The recommendation endorsed in the argument is that ...(改写题目观点). The author employs several lines of reasoning to reach this conclusion. In the first place, the author reasons that ...(原因一). Furthermore, the author reasons that ...(原因二). At first glance, the author’s argument appears to be somewhat convincing, but further reflection reveals that it is based on some dubious assumptions.
结尾:
In summary, the conclusion reached in the argument is both invalid and misleading. To persuade me that ...(改写题目观点), the author would need to provide clear evidence that ...(支持题目的证据一) and that...(支持题目的证据二). In addition, to better evaluate the author ’s claim we would need more information ...(信息内容,如about或doing). Only with these more convincing evidence and proper information could this argument become more than just an emotional appeal.作者: uruk 时间: 2010-5-25 22:11

部分同意: As a matter of fact, there is no such thing as a valid conclusion in all circumstances. The final judgment always relies on a careful case-by-case analysis. As far as I am concerned, I partially consent to the speaker’s opinion that ...(支持部分), but I do not agree with him that ...(反对部分).

这个是我回忆的七宗罪
非因果
The author commits a casual fallacy of oversimplification. The line of reasoning is that because A occurred before B, the former is responsible for the latter. However, the fact that A coincides with B does not necessarily prove that A caused B. This is fallacious reasoning unless other possible casual explanations have been considered and ruled out. For example, perhaps C is the cause of both A and B, or perhaps B is caused by D.
错误类比
The author falsely relies on the assumption that A resembles B in all aspects. This assumption is weak, however, since although there are points of comparison between A and B, there is much dissimilarity. For example, A... , but B... . Thus, it may be more difficult for B to ...
时过境迁
The author simply draw the conclusion based on a past event. The event that happened before is unsound to draw a current conclusion. The author assumes that the background condition would remain unchanged in any time or in any places. However, it is not clear in the argument whether the current condition of A is the same as it used to be two years ago. Thus it is impossible to conclude that...
第三选择
The author depends on the assumption that A and B are casually exclusive choices and that there is no room for a middle ground. However, the author offers no reason in the argument to impose an either-or choice. In fact, common sense tells us that adjusting both A and B may produce better results.
个例
The evidence given by the author is insufficient to support the conclusion drawn from it. A single example is logically unsound to draw a general conclusion unless it can be shown that AA is representative of all A. For example, ... In fact, facing with such insufficient evidence, it is impossible to draw the conclusion that ...作者: uruk 时间: 2010-5-25 22:12
调查不可靠
The poll provided by the author is too vague to be informative. Lacking information about the number of people surveyed and the number of respondents, the results of the poll is insufficient to support the conclusion. For example, if 200 people were surveyed but only 2 responded, the conclusion that ... would be highly suspected. The author provides no evidence to rule out that possibility. Thus the results of the survey is invalid as evidence to support the conclusion.
Assumption不可靠
The author falsely relies on the assumption that... . However, no evidence is offered to support the assumption. In fact, this is not necessarily the case. For example, it is more possible that... . Thus the conclusion that ... is an invalid one unless that possibility is ruled out.
