E。 The first is a position that the reasoning contends is inadequately supported by the evidence; the second is evidence that has been used to support that position.
选项最后的that position指的就是前面的那个position.
而前面的position是“推理认为证据不足的position”.显然第二句的evidence不是支持这个position的，而是支持推理的。

那D选项怎么理解那两个reasoning contends呢？好糊涂啊感觉。。。。
能看得懂文章说什么，但是这个选项感觉很绕啊。。。

作者的观点是 This evidence is far from adequate, 而没有反驳原文的 claim(BF 1 )，因此从 D E 中选
D 和 E 的差别是说 BF 2 support 的对象不同， D 说 support 作者， E 说support BF 1

谁能给我解释一下Ｄ答案的reasoning contends是什么啊？我没有找到这个阿，文章中只是说"把钱花在减少污染上是浪费的"然后就直接给出了evidence.我没找到什么reasoning contends啊？
