108. authoritative parents are more likely than permissive parents to have children who as adolescents are self-confident, high in self-esteem, and responsibly independent.

C.children whose parents are authoritative rather than being permissive, are more likely to have self-confidence, and be responsibly independent when they are an adolescent.

我选的是C,答案是A.我觉得C直接说孩子的什么什么东西会更好。请大牛指点。谢谢。

being permissive对我而言是个硬伤。are前的逗号没有必要吧。be responsibly independent中为什么用be呢？而且C的句子中心发生了转移，由家长为主体，变为了孩子为主体。C的问题太多了啊。

rather than这个说法在这儿用的时候，后面的部分应该和前面的authoritative并列。其次，整

个句子看起来，比a罗嗦许多。

C的逻辑意思并不好
A的逻辑意思实际上是想要说 A的父母比P的父母更可能有这样的孩子
而不应该是有着 A父母的孩子更可能这样

rather than being .. 这种说法是不妥的
rather than在句中使用的时候后面通常不会有being + adj的形式

樓主選的答案，第一眼看到“when they are an adolescent.” 就直接排除好了。。。
