smaller + accountable; less + uncountable

那smaller 和 fewer有什么区别？

feelings (like commitment, love, passion, etc.) are thought of in terms of

more(greater) or less, as unquantified substances.
we cannot use Smaller for commitment because commitment is neither a physical

size, not number or quantity.

smaller 和 fewer 都修饰可数名字

但是， smaller 一般是指 ”小“，而fewer是指”少“
