在我们看来的确 it was said 后面需要一个that从句来引导... 这个题目实际上是不能纯粹的把这句话拿出来看的 为什么呢？因为别的选项有比这个选项的这个所谓的that要严重得多的毛病 这就是最后我们把A选项选出来的原因 不是说A的表达就是完美无缺的 而是说A的表达是唯一可以接受的 我把prep的135题贴在下面：

很明显：句子结构就是 the chestnut was so prevalent that it was said a squirrel could jump… 主语是the chestnut，系动词was，表语prevalent，so… that…结构。
B选项中 a squirrel was said that…这个结构完全不符合句法，因为squirrel和that从句同时做了say的宾语，而say本身不能加双宾语； C选项中 to be said to这个不定式修饰在这里是完全没有道理的，另外to be said to be able to的描述明显冗余，不符合正确的逻辑表达。 D选项中 enough that这个搭配是不允许的，同时也完全的改变了原句的意思。 E选项中 enough to do所表达的含义与原句的so that不同；to be said to被动语态的表达不如主动更明确。
