Line          Historians sometimes forget that history is

    continually being made and experienced before

    it is studied，interpreted，and read．These latter

    activities have their own history, of course，which

这篇文章我也错了很多。。

后来又读了几遍，，，是说对历史新的评论等实际也组成了新的历史。Jim Crow是关于要隔离黑人的。woodward认为它不仅隔离黑人，还抹煞黑人的进步。中间关于第二版的说明并不是对woodwad的否定，他说就像1776年要评论美国独立是很难的（因为那年美国刚独立）。

然后作者又对woodward大家赞美，和他对比较的那个人只是细节，也不影响作者态度。

我觉得大概是这样吧。。。。

Jim Crow Laws 本身就是个坏东西，但是Woodward认识到它还有更坏的一面，因此改变大众的看法。

不知道大家有没有意见。。。。。
