In town X, 64% of the population are employed and 48% of the population are employed males. What percent of the employed people in town X are females? A. 16% B. 25% C. 32% D. 40% E. 52% why is the answer B ah? I thought it would be A. Could someone help me?

如果按照我的理解=64%X(1-48%)，应该很简单。

为什么答案是B？

48% refers to the whole population. So 16% of the population are employed female. 16%/64%=25%
