Q22: If x is negative, is x < -3?

(1) x2 > 9

(2) x3 < -9

A. Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.

B. Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.

C. BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.

D. EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.

E. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.

Why answer is A? (1) get x > 3 or x <-3, then it's insufficient

My answer is C, please comment, thanks

呵呵,楼主,题目不是告诉你了是负数的吗,再说条件2,X^3<-9多数字,多的是啊,要小于-27才能说明问题啊.
