I graduated from UVA's McIntire School of Commerce so I can answer this question.

UVA has two distinct and different business schools: McIntire and Darden.

McIntire is UVA's undergraduate business program, while Darden is its graduate program (MBA).

I don't know about McIntire's MS in Commerce and Accounting, but the school itself, in terms of undergrad business schools, is without question one of the very best in the US. It has been ranked three years in a row as the second best undergraduate business program in the US, second only to Wharton.

 The MS of commerce seems to be designed for students from non-business related majors. So if you are recent undergraduates in liberal arts, science, or engineering majors, this program can be one of the choices.
