查看了语法专区所有关于double和twice的帖子，众说纷纭

把主要的部分摘抄整理以下：

Double 可以做Adj, n, predefinitive, and V( Vi & Vt)

Twice 做副词，two times做副词

前制限定词例子如下：i bought double the amount of milk.

adj. double double + 名词

做动词: 接物 they double their output...

不接物 the house doubled in value

double in size/number/value

double the size/number/amount etc (of something)

“OG上面说double不能做副词” ：
有人知道这个说法的出处吗？

“double sth to 数词----OG里面一道题来的”：
有人知道哪一道吗？

关于TWICE用法：

S+V+twice as...as...一般都这么用，不用double来修饰的

而 S+V+O,twice the number.../double the figure...都可以用 “只不过这里twice the number是固定用法”

如果出现S+V+O, twice the number.../double the number 选哪个呢？
