the answer is B, but i am very skeptical

只有B没有语法错误，别的都有很明显的语法错误阿...

依然是排除法
A中,同位语capital,显然不能等同population
C中,with是介词,后面不能接主谓结构
D,E都是sentence fragment,没有完整主谓结构

normally, we say ' the population of China' instead of 'China's population',
agreed?
look at the examples:
what's the population of Europe in 1900?

即所谓的"句子1,句子2"是错的
那么到选项B,不是正好是这样合适吗?
