为什么说 As the former chair of … for 18 consecutive years不符合逻辑？谓语attended如果用former chair也不合逻辑？谢谢！！！

首先看主要子句是attended，代表描述过去事实，所以他那时未卸任。不能用former，句意变成「以前董事的身份，连续叁加... 年」。

当然你可能会想为何不是以「前..的身份」连续叁加，不过句子用连续...，总计...这种总结的语气，是要强调描述他人在位的事迹。

我觉得应该不对，因为我认为As是在这引导一个状语，表达Joan这个人的状态。

同位语是为了表达前面一系列动作对后面的影响，而且印象里都是在后面，如果The

chair of the planning board for 18 consecutive years and a board member

for 28 years 把它当成同位语，就不能表现出那种状态。

请指教！

我觉得同位语不一定就放在后面,作为主语的同位语,一般是放在前面的....我也

不明白如果作为同位语可不可以...

我觉得从语法上来说应该是没有错的吧 但是在这种语境中曲解了文章的意思~~只是
