這一題我自己的思考如下：

(A) "....belonging in the ....so that" awkward & wordy  （但 so that 表現

出其前後文有關係，而非兩獨立事件）

(B) that ... taht... 造成 Edith Abbott 被說服兩件事，但其實 "stduents

could be offered ..." 其實只是修飾前面的 "university" ，並不是獨立的事件。

造成 distortion。

(C) be convinced of ，介係詞 about 並非正確用法。"belonging ...while"

awkward. "while" 隱含同時進行，或是contrast，在此處都不合理。

(D) "...where" 引導下一句話，完整修飾了 university，使其成為一個完整獨立之

意涵 。正確選項。
