[em18]请问，think of后面可以加什么，consider呢？consider……as，有consider……to be吗？
[em26]还有就是Three out of every four automobile owners in the United States also own a bicycle.这里为什么是a bicycle，而不是bicycles呢？难道指每四个人中平均三个人拥有一辆车？[em19]

think of 。。。as。
consider sth sth。be considered to be sth。
consider。。。。as好想在托福中用的比较多，但GMAT喜欢用前两者。
难道指每四个人中平均三个人拥有一辆车？是的！

我任为three 前省略了every, 这样一来就不会有问题了

这句话应该这么理解吧：每4人中有3个。前面应该没有省略。

Three out of every four 是一种习惯用法，不存在省略不省略的问题
但理解的时候可以在three前面加个every,因为我觉得这句话的意思是每四个人中，有三个人拥有自行车（这三个人每人都有，而不是三个人平均一辆。否则的话，干脆说one out of every four好了：PP ,tongxun你说呢？）
不过我也说不清为什么用a bicycle,不用bicyles.可能是因为这样可以清楚的反映出每个人都有一辆

I found that the key is C:

Bicycles are owned by three out of every four owners of automobiles in the United States.

I think C makes more sense than A.

(A) Three out of every four automobile owners in the United States also own a bicycle.
(C) Bicycles are owned by three out of every four owners of automobiles in the United States.

mihu,我觉得OG上关于C选项为什么错的原因解释的很清楚了：
The passive construction in C (Bicycles are owned by) is cumbersome and does not contribute meaningfully to the sentence. The shift to plural Bicycles detracts from clarity by suggesting that multiple bicycles are owned by each person in question.
