(A) while being an adolescent

(B) while in adolescence

(D) as being in adolescence

(E) as an adolescent

为什么A，B是错的呢？语法书上while+分词/介词/名词短语都可以啊？

A可以还原成 while she had been an adolescent。是不是A的being多余，却掉being可以吗? ---> while an adolescent. 语法书上这样的例子有（while+名词）：He became only the second person executed in the U.S. in 22 years while a juvenile. 新编英语语法章振邦 P1161

B可以还原成 while she had been in adolescentce. 例句（while+介词词组）：While at school，he scarcely read a book.

问此题，我想是严谨的求学态度的体现。平4300分的功力，选最后一个应是没问题的。being表示状态连接主语补足语ets suppose是多余的，从句套从句只有在万不得已情况下才用，简介原则要求尽量用短语取代（并且常常可以这样做，因为英语的表达

所套的那个从句，这是a 错的原因，b也由此因，但跟重要的是实物名词优于抽象名词adolescent > adolescence

最后一个是极为标准的书面英语，表是在童年在儿时，中式英语及口语说：when somebody was a child, or was a young man, 但在古英文及书面英文中全使用，as a child or as an adolescent
