Math 51, verbal 44, total 770.
Sorry, my chinese system did not work today, and I am so anxious to write something tonight.
First, I want to thank CD, which really helped me a lot in terms of improving testing skills. Although I have been in US for some time, and believe that I have a good sense of English, without the help of CD, I would not be able to get this score. One thing I want to emphasize to everyone is that testing skills are very important, if not more important than your real English skills.
Go over the explainations of OG, which will definately help you improve your testing skills. The questions themselves in OG are less important than the explaination, which is the spirit of ETS. In addition, GWD is important, if you expect to see at least a couple of familiar questions in the real test.
I believe that I have strong quantitive skills, but the math questions are more difficult and tricky. I bearly had any time left, and almost wanted to give up on a couple of questions, since they seem so annoying, and I did not know whether I would have enough time for the remaining questions. But if you calm down and be more patient, they are actually not that difficult, but just annoying. I was so exhausted after math (partly because my physical condition was not very good, either today, and the test was from 5PM to 9PM, the only time slot left here.) I actually felt verbal was easier than math.
The essay questions are:
AI: Whether constant innovation and change would harm an organization more than improve it.
AA: The one regarding declining occupancy rates and revenues for on-campus housing. Suggest cut available units, and reduce rents.
A couple of CR questions from GWD, I believe. I can not remember more than this right now, and will probably look through November JJ and try to post more tomorrow. So exhausted today.
Thanks again for all people who supported me, and thanks DC for providing such a wonderful place of discussion and improvement.
