(b）是句子。persuading people to eat what had previously been horse feed

restored market equilibrium

restored 谓语。persuading people to eat what had previously been horse feed 主语

请问这里E和B的差别仅仅是简洁性问题吗？

我还没明白E为什么错？

Dose "former" modify "horse" or "feed"?

horse feed

我觉得这个问题在于"what had previously been horse feed" 和 "former horse feed"

是不同的。前一个由于是代词what引导，只能特指这个题目里所说的那种原来是马饲料的

食品，而后面一个是泛指以前的马饲料。所以我觉得B是对的。如果把E改为"this former

horse feed"就对了。不知道大家怎么想？
