but BanqueCard's chief accountant（主语） reasoned （谓语）that the profits that the company shows would remain unaffacted by a revision of its clients'（宾语）,credit statements to correct its previous billing errors（这句什么意思？做什么用？）,since just as many clients had been overcharged as undercharged.

credit在这里和remain并列，都是动词 个人意见
