The Gmat uses six and only six - reading comprehension questions.
Identify the type of question asked, you are halfway home to finding the correct answer.
1.main idea questions ask about the central theme or main point of the passage.
2. Specific detail questions ask about details included by the author to support or to develop the main theme.
3. Inference questions ask about ideas that are not explicitly stated in the selection but are strongly implied.
4. Logical structure questions ask about the organization or the overall development of the passage.
5. Application questions ask you to take what you have learned from the passage and apply it to new situaion.
6. Atiitude or tone questions ask you to identify the overall tone of the passage or the author's attitude toward something discussed in the passage.
