各位nn, 如果现在是刚刚到辞职到国外专心申请，为了避免工作GAP比较久，是不是应该多申请几个以保证命中率啊,可是也只有一个多月时间准备essay和推荐信了，想申请8所，前十3所，10-20 3所，20-30 2所保底，这样的组合科学吗？看到很多人说一个是精力可能不够，一个是自己不想去的学校也不用浪费钱和精力，可是现在真的心里没底最后结果如何，只能尽可能广撒网，还请各位nn建议一下，8所多么？一个多月全职写essay，来得及吗？矛盾中。。。多谢！

That depends on how fast you can get through the applications.  Each person is different, some focus on a handful of schools and some apply up to a few dozens.  Why don't you start with a few first?
