They are concerned that they might be at a disadvantage if the admissions officers haven't heard of their school/ company. I would like to assure you that your achievements in China will definitely get a fair review here at Michigan. We have several China experts in the admissions committee to review your applications. These are native Chinese who studied and worked in China before they came to the States and obtained their MBA. They are very familiar with the Chinese educational system and the professional circle and they know how to evaluate them. Therefore, if you're really outstanding, your achievements will be acknowledged regardless of your school/ company name. I would suggest everyone to be honest with whatever they submit in their applications. At least, at Michigan we have China experts who can easily distinguish truth and lies. Everyone will get a fair chance here. |
