好在will

是expect的东西，就最好用将来时表结果，而不用ing

另外我觉得 好像前半句的写法也是B好些吧, 虽然我讲不出为啥,感觉.

gerund (+ing noun form) is usually modifying the subject of the main clause.
here "placing" modifies the trend, not women.
therefore, a clause "a trend that..." in B is better than a gerund "a trend placing..." in A

placing是放在名词trend后面，其逻辑主语就应该是trend呀，怎么能是主句主语?如果只是个赤裸裸的ing放在后半句的开头，当然其逻辑主语是主句主语。
