8. Goldenrod and No Hope are in a horse race and the total contestants are 6. How many different arrangements of finishes are there if No Hope always finishes before Goldenrod and if all of the horses finish the race?

(A) 720
(B) 360
(C) 120
(D) 24
(E) 21

答案是B（6!/2=360）,可我觉得是5!=5*4*3*2=120, 望NN指点！

分两种情况：(1) G和N相邻，就是你算的P(5 5)=120

(2)G和N不相邻，那么就先把其他四个次序排定P(4 4) 再在它们边上可能的5个空位里挑两个空位给G
和N，顺序一定。这里有P(4 4)*C(2 5)=240

两种情况相加得到360

或者按照你答案里给的这个式子的思路：六个在一起排列，N在G前面和后面的可能应该都是50%，所以减掉一半

我觉得二分法最简便，NH在G之前和G之后概率相等，只需6匹马全排列/2即可.

先选两各位置，C62，则两匹马的位置固定，其余P44，C62*P44=360
