(44) “our total sales have increased this year by 20 percent since we added a pharmacy section to our grocery store. clearly, the customer’s main concern is the convenience afforded by one-stop shopping. the surest way to increase our profits over the next couple of years, therefore, is to add a clothing department along with an automotive supplies and repair shop. we should also plan to continue adding new departments and services, such as a restaurant and a garden shop, in subsequent years. being the only store in the area that offers such a range of services will give us a competitive advantage over other local stores.”

(21)“job security and salary should be based on employee performance, not on years of service. rewarding employees primarily for years of service discourages people from maintaining consistently high levels of productivity.”

What the amount in dollors to invest on a single interest rate of .02 annually for one year will be to equal $10,000 to invest on a interest rate of .04 annually for one year compounded semiannually?
A20,000
B20,150
...

第一篇讲科学家一直以为是体内一个什么东东控制动物和人的生物钟的rhythm,例如the fluctuation of the blood pressure.
