Teresa: Manned spaceflight does not have a future, since it cannot compete economically with other means of accomplishing the objecties of spaceflight.

Edward: No mode of human transportation has a better record of reliability. Thus manned space flight definitely has a positive future.

Which of the following is the best logical evaluation of Edward's argument as a response to Teresa's argument.

(C) It raises a consideration that outweighs the argument Terasa makes.
Wrong answer

(D) It does not mee Teras's point because it assumes that there is no serious impediment to transporting people into space, but this was the issue raised by Teresa.
Right answer.

Is the answer wrong? If no, why is D right?

如果你认为D是错的，那么你认为那个选项是对的呢？你只是给出了五个选项中的两个给g友作为比照参考，其实要总体看所有选项和比照题目的陈述。

你认为D是错的，应该说说理由，你认为那个选项应该是对的也要给出理由，这样不仅是让其他朋友可以参考你的思路，帮助你解决问题，而且也是你自己理清头绪的途径，错与对都应该知道所以然，而不能只是追求正确答案的所以然。

我想这道题目不难，你再看看，结合我说的，你应该可以想出来。

我认为对g友们做启发性的解答，好过直接进行答案讲解，毕竟，考试，我们都是一个人做题。

T说S不可行，因为S比其它方法贵。E反驳说S可行，因为S比其它方法可靠。要求评价反驳S的逻辑。我认为答案Ｃ：Ｅ说是否可靠比是否贵更重要。正确答案是Ｄ：可中提到的是无关概念。

你认为是否可靠比是否贵更重要，可是题目中又没有直接或是间接地告诉你这个信息呢？
D中的无关概念是什么？

你的错误在于自己提出了题目中没有的信息，又过于警惕的认为有无关概念。

可靠比贵更重要是T的论断成立的必要条件：如果可靠不如贵重要，那么T就不能反驳S的论点。因为S 考察的是贵这方面，而T 考察的是可靠这方面。

你要不要再看看题目？题目没有让你一定要找一个答案，去支持Edward对Teresa的argument,所以你不可以，也没有必要，去假设可靠性一定要比经济性重要，看来你还没有吃透题目的意思。

题目只是要你去找一个答案，这个答案是可以用来评价判断Edward's argument as a response to Teresa' s argument and her point,that's to say, the correct answer choice would not have to be one choice that could support Edward's point and his argument, but would have to be one choice that could be used to evaluate how Edward's argument as a response to Teresa's argument. Could you understand and would you look back into the question again?
