From choice A, you know that the academic level has not increased. Contrarily, the precentage of students who recieved honors degree has increased. Without corresponding in the actual performence level, the increased number of students getting honored only means the deteriorated quality of honor itself. thanks for your explanation. but this increasing percentage of honor degree is caused by inflation is a fact given by the author instead of the conclusion the author draws, right? ("Today, however, because of grade inflation, the honors degree goes to more than 50 percent of a graduating class....")
Can we to support the conclusion by reiterating one of the facts?
