Georgetown Announces New Business School Dean
A professor and former associate dean at Harvard Business School – David A. Thomas – will serve as the new dean of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, effective August 1.
The new dean currently serves as the H. Naylor Fitzhugh Professor of Business Administration at Harvard and directs the school’s Organizational Behavior Unit.
“A recognized thought leader in the area of strategic human resource management, David brings important academic and organizational leadership to his new role at Georgetown,” says Georgetown President John J. DeGioia. “I very much look forward to our work together to expand upon our existing strengths in research and teaching to respond to the changes and challenges of the 21st century.”
