On the routine from Encore where I phone up Paul, I wanted to make him have to hear the sound of my turds dropping in a toilet. Because this is what I expect my crew to do for me: listen to and compliment me on the sound of my beatiful, perfectly formed turds. So I took the mic in the bathroom and I actually shit on it. Well, not right on microphone, but I had it right there in the bowl so it could pick up the sound. It's fucked up, but it was probably one of the funniest things I've ever done. Gross, right?

   Most of the funny stuff I've done has involved imitating people. I've been a mimic since back in junior high. I think it seeped into my music because of the time I spent working with the guys in D12. A lot of the dudes in D12 have an extreme sense of humor. You spend time with them, and if you don't already have that twisted humor in you, you'll pick up. They were my gateway drug.

   When I'm hanging with D12, I'm always ribbing on everybody, impersonating them and shit like that. We actually all do it to each other, but I think I do it more than others. To be honest, I need to do it just to get the rest of the business out of my head. When I'm recording an album, I'm in the studio full-time. I live there. And you can go crazy in a recording booth. I mean, you're basically just a dude sitting alone in a padded room babbling to yourself and playing with a drum machine for days on ends. So when I get out I'm constantly snappin' on people just to keep my straight. They probably don't see it that way, though.

   I'm always doing accents when I'm with my Shady peoples. I think I do a pretty funny British accent-- which is nice because it's one of the few accents that shouldn't piss anybody off, right, because, you know, who has beef with England? I can do kind of offensive accents, too. I do an okay Middle Eastern cab driver-- I drove Kurt Loder around Detroit using that accent for an interview back in 1999. And of course I do the horny, drug-addicted, homophobic dirtball-- AKA my normal voice.

   The Ken Kaniff character, which I've used on a couple albums and in a few concerts, also sort of came out of real life. There's a place in Detroit called Caniff Street, and I remember, for some reason, driving under an overpass and just trying to string together words that begin with the same letter. For example, a bunch of Ls, like lazy,lackluster, ludicrous...you know.

When I started doing that I remembered Caniff, and then I don't know why, that led to "Ken Kaniff." my gay friend from...well, at that point I had no idea where he was from. Then I said,"Made a couple of crank calls collect," because that's what I wanted to do on the song "Cum On Everybody." And then I wanted to keep the K sound going."Made a couple of crank calls collect[to] Ken Kaniff from Connecticut, can you accept?" And once I did that, he became a character. Other people, I guess  they think about serious things when they're driving. I just fuck around with the alphabet.

-----------------------------------------------------
Paul's my manager, and he's basically paid to make sure I don't get busted with a gun again. He's a chill guy-- we're been working together for 13 year, and I don't know how many people know this but he can actually rhyme. But you always have to remember that the dude's a lawyer. He went to fucking law school. When you hear that worried part of him, the lawyer's nerves, coming out in his messages, it's hilarious. And, you know, Paul is always fucking with me about guns. That's partly why I fucked with him back. I don't have a gun, but in the skit from Encore you can hear a gun cracking and a bullet falling out. I guess I was trying to be funny. I dont' know if it worked.

{译者废话:这就是Cum On Everybody}
