A SC question:
There are 2 different answers for one SC -
Sth was buried ____ being stolen by sb.
a) To keep it from
B) to avoid

Which one is better and why?

a is the correct answer。
it = sth。because sth cannot perform the acting -keep， so we have to complete the sentence by adding the object - it for verb- keep。
avoid what？
