GWD语法题 the others being 还是 including

下面是GWD的一道语法题，答案不统一，有B和E两种，刚才CD上查了下，只找到倾向于B的帖子，不知道E错在哪里，个人觉得好像E好一点，因为要强调另外两本，在google上也查到类似的句子“It also ensured he became only the third non-African runner to break 13 minutes for 5000m, the others being 1992 Olympic champion Dieter Baumann of Germany and American Bob Kennedy”，还有就是“by a Black American"是不是强调每本书都是由一个黑人写的，请NN指教！

我觉得选B。理由如下：

1，the best novels表明它后面的修饰语Black American一定用复数。因此C，D，E通通错；

2，从句子的逻辑结构来看，句子着重强调对比的是the novel,而不是author. 因此在选项A中，the others being Richard.... and Ralph....不对，如果是换成the others being A novel and B novel就对了。而你在GOOGLE上搜索到的句子也对应这种结构。

3，个人理解，破折号后面的部分属于一个独立主格结构。
