自己写又犹豫不定
而且越到后来越痛苦,尤其结尾,每段总结(可以看到我每段几乎
没有总结的)都觉得重复的说没意思.
大家是怎么做的.
“The most important quality for a leader of an organization to have
is not the ability to plan, to organize, and to solve problems but
rather the ability to communicate the organization’s mission and to
inspire people to work toward fulfilling that mission.”
Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the opinion
stated above. Support your position with reasons and/or
examples from your experience, observations, or reading.
What is the most important characteristic a leader should hold is a
complex and controverial issue. In our society, most people holp,as a
good wish, that their leader is a powerful person who owns the
ability to organize, to make plan, and to deal with problems.
However, different person hold different views due to their
respective angles. In this statement, the author advocates that the
capability for communicating mission and inpiring people's morle to
fulfill that mission should be at the first place. Considering the
important and irreplaceable role a leader plays in a organization, I
favor the latter one. In the following, I will give evidence to
support my standpoint and refute the former opinion.
In the first place, the important reason in support of my view is
that the ability acquired depends on the leader's special position
and responsibility. No matter the organization is profit or
nonprofit, public or private, it is a group of persons working
together towards a substantial mission. Obviously, the job of the
leader, the unique one in this aggregate, is to enlighten everyone
about the mission, and have them to accept it as their own and work
to turn it true with the most dynamic. As a result, it is
theindispensable and critical competence for leaders to communicate
mutual idea and arouse members' potential energy. As we see,
manifestation of these properties is common in those sucessful
leaders in different fields such as military, politics, businesses
and religion. So it is not surprise why Buddha is considered the most
sucessful leader in the world in a degree.
On the other hand, it is impossible and unnecessary for leaders to
engage himself in the daily management. It is the middle-managers who
can take most of these functions and solve the practical problems.For
example, Mary Kate, a leader of a company which produces feminine
consumer products,is so successful that even the famous bland is
named after her. Moreover, hundreds and thousands of
sale-representatives, all around the world, are working for the
company's mission, taking it their own enterprises. Without offering any
practical direction herself, Mary's success comes from her wonderful
leadership.
Admittedly, there is no deny that the ability to solve problems and
to manage is not important to leaders.It is really helpful for their
better performs. However, it doesnot constitute a sufficient support
to the statement that such ability is the most important. Expecially,
many leaders in China now upside down the significance and result in
the failure of their organizations.
In conclusion, dued to the above-mentioned reasons, the conclusion
is obvious that the ability to communicate mission and to spirit
people to work toward fulfilling is more important, not only because
of the demand of organization, but also because of the confine of a
human's ability. |
