Nambung, Australia 在英语中是标准的表示地点的方式:

I live in Los Angeles, California.

The 2008 summer game is in Beijing, China.

作插入语的话, 我觉得应该是: Nambung, in Australia, ...

作同位语的话, logic不通, 两个特定地点怎么可以同等.
