unqualifying是不合格，不达标的意思，unqualified是没受限的，无保

留的意思，根据句意，排除A B，而D E中consistent的修饰对象由原句中的

receive（也就是A选项）变成了support，逻辑意思发生改变（一般来说，

GMAT语法中如果原句的逻辑意思没有问题则要保留），所以选C

句子的意思是这个事情已经过去了，不过 it is somewhat relevant to the current topic（这么理解比较简单）


umm，句子没有其他的time indicator 来支持你使用进行时态（例如right now神马的）或者其他的context要你使用进行时来表示ongoing action


既然原句的时态没有逻辑错误 and make sense，you should stick to the original meaning
