在这句中的“than” 是什么意思？ 为什么前面没有比较？
我觉得是不是 应该是rather than?

大致的意思明白 这是不合理的去囚禁任何因为他对其他的生命和财产有严重的威胁。。。(这是根据上下文推测出来的)
但是 for any other reason than.  到底指的是什么。。不清楚。。

除了他或她严重威胁到了其他人的的财产和生命，这以外的任何原因来监禁他都是不合理的。


照题目的理解好像也是这样.
